Air Conditioning Service

The service is a rigorous one. five point check. The system is placed under vacuum to totally remove the refrigerant and any residual moisture. When we replace the refrigerant, we replace it with the correct weight of gas for your particular make or model. Unlike some companies, we do not cut any corners and always add an Ultraviolet dye into the system, to allow the detection of leaks, and we always inspect or replace your car’s pollen filter.

Prices start at £70.50 INC VAT

Hygiene Deodorising and Fumigation

Lingering smell? Too many reminders of the previous car’s owner? Trying to sell your car? Perhaps you just want to be hygienic? Book your car in for a Hygiene Deodorising and Fumigation. This will disinfect your air conditioning system and all internal vents and ducting, killing any bacteria and fungal blooms. Your car is returned to you in a safe condition with a pleasant aroma

It may be a simple gas leak, in which case we can track down and rectify the leak and give your car an aircon service. You are also entitled to a complimentary follow-up inspection after a two week shakedown, just to make sure.

Diagnosis and repair or replacement of Air Conditioning components with guaranteed parts - Prices charged dependent on vehicle type.

USEFUL TIP

There are a couple things you can do to avoid any expensive bills or surprises. First of all, make sure you have the system checked regularly according to your car handbook. Secondly, even though it might not make much sense to run the aircon during the winter months, we recommend running your A/C system for at least ten minutes per month, because it contains a light mineral oil in the refrigerant to keep the compressor properly lubricated. Consult your car’s handbook to determine the exact recommended use during winter use.
